I am coming to realize that, to a select few, my blog helps make their days just a little better! ;o) So that is why I am sitting at the computer determined to post at least one update on things we did this summer, although there is so much I should do, i.e. my workout, two days worth of Bible study that have to be finished by tomorrow morning...yep I got behind this week, or I could sit and watch the Doodlebops with the kids, nooo that's why I'm here, and if you don't know what the Doodlebops are check them out here.
This summer the kids were out in the cul-de-sac a lot. Through hours of practice and try, try, trying again they got pretty good at doing some tricks on their skateboards, scooters, and bikes. We had to put some band aids on skinned knees and elbows, and there were many bruises, but I am very impressed with the boys taught themselves. Tanner is thinking he just might be the next Tony Hawk!
One thing they did quite often was grab some wood scraps from the back yard and make their own ramps. I had many little video clips that I thought it would save a lot of my time to just put all together in a montage.
