I found this in my draft folder. It was written the first day of Fall, September 22, 2009.
Today is truly a fall day. Right now, at 12:55 pm, my Weather Bug says it is 46 degrees. It's overcast with an occasional light rain. I've got a couple of "purple" kids because they are wearing their summer clothes even though I urged them to put on their sweats. I just can't bring myself to turn on the heat. I at least want the filter changed before that happens.
On this cold, autumny day, we made some taco soup and caramel apples. Does anything say fall more then that?
