School Days

Since I'm missing church because of some sick kiddos, I thought I might as well catch up on more of what's happened the past couple of months. The summer came to an end and school started.

We brought out the math blocks.

We visited a produce farm. (Aug. 31, 2009)

China Class
They've been learning China facts and about the culture with other homeschoolers. (All these pictures are from week 1, Sept. 4, 2009)

They get to try Chinese snacks, even with chopsticks!

They play games.

They do different arts.

"Kaylie, don't scribble on your school."

"Mom, I'm not. It's Chinese!"

Some extra fun.

I recognize those Math-U-See blocks. A math-u-see block tower is an every day thing during the school week. Jillian keeps busy by playing with them while the rest use them to do school. Then they play with them, too. ;) Somehow we've managed not to lose a single one over 3 years...but we've found them lots of places.
