It's pretty obvious that Easter has come and gone. On Easter Sunday's afternoon, I thought, "I should have mentioned Jesus' resurrection." You know, put a verse or something. But by the time I really thought about it was a little late.
When I started writing this post I began going into what Easter is about and also why I don't like "Easter" in general. (There is nothing theological about why I don't like it.) But I decided to just share pictures of our Easter fun.
Saturday, April 3
We dyed eggs, with only one spill.
Preston hit the bottom of the cup as I was picking it up and blue dye flew every where.
Landon's white eggs were now speckled blue.

He loves me.

Sunday, April 4
We don't do the "Easter Bunny" but we leave gifts on the table.
This is what the kids found.

(The clothes they picked out themselves so it was no surprise.)
The note reminded them what Easter is really about and
it asked them to wake me up at 7:00.
The two oldest boys came up with great attitudes on what they received.
(I could tell they were really trying to be thankful.)
I then came down, with video camera in hand, to show them where we really left the gifts.

Ready to head to church with their new Bible's and Bible covers.

Later that afternoon, Jeff hid eggs and the kids went hunting!
