The past few days I've just been living life. Nothing to outstanding or exciting to share. For some reason my kids seem to be needing a lot of discipline these past few days. I don't know what the difference is but it is sure wearing me out.
A few days ago my two youngest decided to potty in Kaylie's room for "fun". All over Kaylie's bed, in her Barbie car, and all over the brand new carpet. The bad thing is, we didn't know about it immediately it was probably about 5 hours later. Needless to say, neither Jeff or I handled it to well. I do think we ended up "disciplining" in a very smart and hopefully a very effective way, but it ended up taking the rest of the day trying to figure out how to clean it and to clean it. That was the MAJOR frustrating part.
I now am getting my house ready for my parents. They are coming up for a few days to watch our kids so Jeff and I can go to the Willowcreek Leadership Summit. I personally won't have a lot of time to spend with my parents but it is always nice to have some time.

I'm not the only one up late, huh?! ;) What is it with boys and the peeing thing? Justis did that one day in my house just for "fun," too. Thankfully I caught he and Dawson before Dawson was able to pull his pants down! I made him soak the initial mess up with a towel (only a natural consequence) ;) and then I soaked and scrubbed with vinegar water several times more that day.
I hope you and Jeff have a great time at the leadership conference. You'll have a break from the kids and they'll have a break from you so you can all start back fresh when they get back!
