A prayer request:
We have some good friends who are under mandatory evacuation in Louisiana. They are leaving early Sun. Morning and headed to Kansas where their family is. Please pray for their safety as they travel and even protection around their home. They are a family of six and they have young kids.
Our love and prayers go out to Travis and Jae.

Wow. Thank you so much for praying for us and asking others to, as well. We feel we've again been recipients of God's grace and protection. Our friends, neighbors and home made it through the storm. Today, when I was talking on the phone with my neighbor for the first time we were laughing and celebrating together when she said, "Yeah. I looked out the front window over to your house and not only was your house unharmed, but your yard was even clean!" This is a big deal, because downed trees and limbs can be one of the most severe forms of property destruction during a hurricane. Our yard being clean is a message from God to our family that He protects His children through our prayers and the prayers of others. Love Ya!!
