On Monday, March 23, it was a dreary day. It was drizzling but Theresa wanted to get out and take some pictures at the National Weather Center. Her nephew is doing a school project I believe based off of a booked named "Flat Stanley". Well, Flat Cameron was sent to Oklahoma from Colorado Springs so we had to let Flat Cameron "see" some sights. I enjoyed taking lots of photos...the kids not so much.
This National Weather Center is where all weather "watches" in the USA are issued out of. "Warnings" are issued from centers in the local area. We wanted to take a tour of it but you had to make reservations at least a week in advance. On that Monday would have been a good day to go because they would have be active...the Oklahoma City area was in a Tornado Watch.

While Theresa ran in to get some info, I made the kids get out of the vehicle so I could get a picture of them in front of the fountains...none of them enjoyed it and this was the "best" picture out of the bunch.
Later that night we were in a Thunderstorm warning and we got heavy rain and lots of pea to marble size hail. We were amazed that only two kids woke up and came downstairs, Megan and Tanner.
