The Zoo

After the OKC Memorial we headed to the zoo. That seems to be one thing we always try to do and the kids seem to expect it, to visit a zoo. We were there for around 3 hours...which was plenty of time for all of us. Here are lots of pictures.

We started off in the aquatic center.

Everyone watching a sea lion and seal.

After spending around 20 minutes or so looking at the fish and the sea lions, Kaylie turned and said to me, "Can we go now and see some "amimals" that walk?"

So we then moved on. After seeing a pygmy hippo, we went into where the snake and lizard are.

Right around this time, Kaylie turned to me and said, "You know, these "amimals" don't walk."

After moving on and looking at more animals, we had to hit the carousel.

I saw these flowers on this bush and thought, "Those match my kids' shirts, a great picture opportunity time!" I think almost every kid grumbled, with the exception of Landon.

This ended up being one of our favorite parts...the otters! The otters were very active and entertaining. As you can see in the video, the otters were missing with the black bear next door.

1) Watching the otters.

2) Some great cousin conversation going on.

3) Kaylie worn out and Aunt Theresa giving her a lift.
