T.G.I.F.: Part 2

Here is the second part of what I've learned from this Esther study. Let's dive right in. Don't forget to read Part 1.

Week 4: The Human Dilemma of Destiny

• It's tough being a woman thrown a giant-size weight.
• It will often be crisis to pivot our direction.
• "The revelation of a person's destiny always demands a revelation of the person." One of the most important parts of fulfilling our destiny is our transparency. It's for them, if they can't see it, what good is it?
• "Repentance is not your punishment. It's your glorious right of daughtership. Your invitation to restoration."
• "In times of greatest struggle when you make the Godward decision over convenience, earthly comfort, or carnal pleasure, you too have come to a critical moment in the fulfillment of your destiny."
• At critical moments, failure to decide is to decide on failure.

Week 5:

• It's tough being a woman in the tight fist of fear.
• Sometimes we have to overcome our self in order to do what God has created us and positioned us to do.
• You have to face the fear.
• In Proverbs 31:10, the Hebrew word used for "noble" when speaking of her noble character, is the same word used for Gideon. An army term, meaning valor; brave; courageous. We as women, are called to be warriors!
• "Once Satan sees what we believe would be the end of us, he threatens and torments us with it."
• "Our Creator unquestionably wants us to know He's God and we're not, but He also wants us to see who we were meant to be when He formed us in His image."
• Sometimes our stronghold can be a person. "A person becomes a snare to us any time he or she consumes an excessive and unhealthy space in our thoughts, whether negative or positive."

Week 6:

• It's important to know when it's time. Sometimes your emotions aren't going to precede your actions.
• Sometimes we need to be silent when man invites us to speak. - Have you experienced this? I have. There have been times when I've wanted to say something and had the opportunity to say something, but there was that "something" saying keep your mouth shut.
• In our wait God is active!
• It's tough being a woman who can balance passion with patience.
• "Sometimes we grab the hem of Christ's garment for dear life and are healed. Other times it brushes past us and we never recognize that the turn-around marking the months to come began with a single touch." - WOW!
• "Every now and again Christ seems to stand to His feet and read His Word over us like we're the only ones in the room."
• "Let's pursue a walk with God so close that the spotlights of this world--be they for us or against us--are eclipsed by His enormous shadow cast on our path."

Week 7:

• A Reversal of Destiny has a moment when it turns.
• It's tough being a woman who feels responsible for the "how".
• I am not responsible for "how" this thing works out, I'm just responsible to be obedient.
• "If man refuses mercy to someone who should have received it, God will never refuse it....If man showers mercy on someone who squanders it, the Ancient of Days will always have the final say."
• "Every one of us who embraces the glory of God as our purpose will end up doing great things precisely because we do God-things."
