There are several "little" things that happened this past week that are just out of the ordinary.
1. On the 9th I got a ticket for not stopping at a stop sign. I was not happy about that and I'm sure a lot of my reaction was because I wasn't feeling good. Now growing up as a daughter of a police officer, I don't hold law enforcement in a bad light. But if was sure hard to keep my mouth shut...which I did pretty good until the very end. I believe I muttered it quiet enough that I didn't get into more trouble.
2. On the 11th, I saw that I had a message on my cellphone. So I listened to it. The beginning was indiscernible, but then this man started talking about a case that had "my name and social security #" listed as a defendant. From what he could tell, I wasn't aware of what was going on because there was something sent out in writing and it wasn't responded to. I then needed to get ahold of them to find out what my rights and obligations were, and then it went on how I could be something in the court of law.
Of course this made my heart speed up and I'm sure my blood pressure raised. I called Jeff to let him know. The only thing I could think of, was over a year ago I had bumped into a car at at a stop light. There was no police called, and we had the same ins. company so there was no hassle with our insurance. All I could think was this lady must have decided to take advantage of the situation but I did wonder how they would have gotten ahold of my SS#. I did some major praying between sitting in the van to getting to the phone inside the house.
I called the phone # that was left and some detective answered. I gave the doc # that was left and he asked if I was Jesse. Nope. He said he would make a note about the phone # and said it had nothing to do with me. Whew!
3. On the 13th, I "enjoyed" another experience of being a mother of boys. I go to grab my salt shaker and I saw that there was mud caked on it. I KNEW that it wasn't there earlier in the day, so the questions began. Jeff said that he heard the boys mention something about a slug. Yep, that's what it was used for. I dumped the salt, threw that shaker in the dishwasher and made sure the "sanitize" button was pushed.
4. Kaylie was singing Free to be Me, with Francesca Battistelli. Instead of "perfection is my enemy", perfection is Kaylie's emeny.
5. We had 9 days in a row of severe weather. There have been many funnel clouds, or hail on many of those days. Thankfully our house was missed. It seemed like the "severe" stuff either hit south of us or north of us. I just kept praying that my garden would be OK. I hate to think how I would feel if everything I 've worked so hard for was destroyed.
6. My parents came in yesterday! They will be here for 9 days.
The double rainbow that ended the 9 days of severe weather.
The second rainbow is very faint above the brighter rainbow.

That picture of the rainbow is so awesome! I so love evident pictures of God's handiwork like that!!
And your ticket-yea, I understand exactly what your saying. Good job at saying it low enough not to get into anymore trouble! :)
Enjoy your time with your parents!
love you girl!
