This is the beginning of the story about our weekend we went to Frisco.
Before it even began, there was a debate going on in my own head whether or not I really wanted to go. It was going to be a lot of work to pack us all and figure out food, then clean the place up. (I have to say that PMS was not helping.)
We decided to go and Jeff tried getting a hold of his "coach", who's condo we were staying at. He left emails, messages on his home phone and cell phone, and never actually heard back from him. He decided we were going to head up anyway.
We drove through lots of rain on our way up, but when we hit Dillon we saw a beautiful rainbow, that we couldn't really catch on camera...

we saw the trees speeding by with a beautiful sunset...

and when we got to Frisco this is what we saw.

We got everything...
4 suitcases
2 backpacks
8 pillows
4 sleeping bags
1 large cooler full of food
4 cloth bags of groceries
2 computer bags
other various toys and games.
hauled up three flights of stairs, unloaded and put away.
Around 10:30 the kids finally settled down and went to bed and Jeff got a picture of the night sky.

Around midnight Jeff and I were settling in bed, turning off our lights and starting to sleep for the night. At 12:30, we were awaken by the doorknob being rattled. The door that the lock-box was on, entered into the bedroom we were sleeping in.
Jeff hopped up, hollered hello, and opened the blinds. There was a tall, big man standing out there. Jeff cracked the window to talk to him, and come to find out, he was the step-son of the 'coach'. He then said he could find some friends to stay with, and Jeff and I were still full of adrenaline it took awhile to settle back down.
That is Day One.
