With Kaylie growing up with three brothers, some have called her a tom-boy. Yeah, she can talk like her brothers, and fight like her brothers. She is pretty tough and she will try to do anything her brothers do and then some, but there are several things that she has said that shows she is ALL girl...
1) We went to the thrift store to get the boys some jeans and Kaylie says, "All I want are dresses and shoes, just dresses and shoes, nothing else!" That girl loves her shoes!!!!
2) Yesterday I was asking her what her favorite food is, she pondered "Hmmmm...Hmmmm...CHOCOLATE!" That girl loves her chocolate!!!!
I don't think you can get more girlie then the love of shoes and chocolate! I do have to say that those were very proud moments for me as a mom! ;oD
Now I just have to work on her fashion....
Before the white socks she had on one blue and one red, but as a mother I encouraged her to at least match her socks! ;P
The green band-aid is covering where she was bit by a dog :( and just the week before she was stabbed in the same cheek with a pencil :(

Love it! My Tanner is the same way Kaylie is-can be at tomboy with the best of them but when it comes right down to it-she's a girl at heart.
And like you-we have to work on her fashion sense. That's probably one of the hardest things for me-letting Tanner figure out what matches and what doesn't and what looks good and what doesn't. If she'd let me still pick out her clothes-yea, I would. But I know, she's gotta learn somehow.

I occasionally send Madalynn back in to change something, too. Shoes, mostly. However, I'm glad I haven't given her too many guidelines, because she's developing the cutest little style of her own. I was never much of a fashionista myself. She's already putting together outfits I wish I had the creativity to put together! Girls are so much fun, huh?
