Final Swim Lesson

May 17th was Tanner and Preston's last day of swim lessons. Just like Landon, they had a "fun" day. They also played "Sharks and Minnows" and they got to go down the slide, use the 'lazy' river and play some tag. Ms. Erica was there swim teacher. Jeff was the one who usually took the boys to their lessons because it was on Sunday evening. Jeff said she did a really good job. Also because Jeff took them, there aren't as many pictures. Here are some of what we have.

These are from their very first lesson (March 15).
The day they were "tested" and "graded". (May 10)
One thing that both boys struggled with was getting a breath while still swimming without putting their feet down. Preston was bound and determined to make it to the wall, without stopping. He did it! It wasn't with a lot of grace or finesse but he had speed!...so much so, I thought the clip was in a fast-forward mode the first time I saw it.
Tanner still had a hard time getting a breath without putting his feet down. It seems to me that he swims a little deeper in the water, which makes it difficult to just turn the head for a breath.
This swim, they called the "Chicken, Airplane, Soldier."
From their "fun" day. (May 17)
Playing "Sharks and Minnows"
The Slide
Their special treats were mini cupcakes.
The class waiting.
