June 25- The Denver Museum

Today was the day where I "lost" it, where frustration raised it's ugly head in me. I'm not going to write the reasons down, that way one day we'll forget the "why" of things. But I decided that I was taking the kids and getting out of the house. Mom also decided she was going to take the morning off of being at the hospital and she was going to watch the kids. I invited her to come with us to the Denver Museum. I decided to make a school investment and buy a year's membership.

There was way too much to see at the museum but we hit a few different things in the hours we had.

Expedition Health
So many different things to do and check out.

Jeff not handling, seeing and hearing about a knee and hip replacement, too well.
Kaylie is the middle person ~ Tanner

Rock Climbing

Age Progression w/ Sun Damage
I don't think the kids enjoyed seeing themselves at 70.

My niece, Megan.

Then Tanner. We were amazed at how much he looks like my sister Tammy, especially when he was around the 30's, which is what Tam is.

The Lab
Getting Ready

Introducing the "Scientists"
Brooke ~ 14 years

Megan ~ 12 years

Preston ~ 10 years

Tanner ~ 8 years

Landon ~ 6 years

Kaylie ~ 4 years

The "Chief" Scientist ~ Grandma

The Saliva Test

The Bacteria Test
The "Stuffed" Animals
With the last picture of the manatee's we all broke into the VeggieTale song "Barbara Manatee"
Space & Science
Finding where we all live.
The End.

What a great trip!

I'm so so glad your back!! I've missed you, though I know you've had your hands very full over the last few months! I've been hoping and praying that you will get a little down time to relax and enjoy the summer before school starts again.

Can't wait to hear more about your adventures!

LOVE YOU!!
