A conversation that just happened in our kitchen while the kids were getting a drink for bed.

Landon: Dad, is it hard work to have kids?

Jeff: Julie, how do I answer that?

Me: Tell him that if he obeys it would be easier.

Jeff: If you don't obey it makes our job harder. So if you kids would obey it would make our job easier.

Landon: Yeah, it would make your job easier but it would make ours harder.

That Landon is pretty quick on his toes!
