A Special Delivery

This past Friday, while I was in the kitchen fixing homemade pizza's with Kaylie, Preston ran in and said,

"Mom! Look what dad sent to you!"

"No he did not. Dad doesn't send flowers."

Upon further investigation, it was from Creation Truth Foundation because of the loss of Justin. Creation Truth Foundation is where my brother-in-law Matt works.

From what I gather, Dr. Sharp, the founder and president of CTF, had the idea of sending something and put Matt in charge of ordering it.

Matt called and was wanting to send a miniature rose bush but the flower shop didn't have that and talked Matt into what was sent.

I didn't know what it was at first because there was no care instructions or anything to tell us what it was. I had to call Theresa and ask. She's where I get my info.

I was describing that it was pink flowers, in a pink vase, with a pink bow. She got a chuckle. She said it was probably a cancellation for someone who had a baby girl and that's why the flower lady talked Matt into that plant. Matt was a little sensitive to the laughs.

From what I've heard...Matt's never going to order from a flower shop again.

Even though you had no idea what was sent, they are beautiful! Kaylie believes you picked out pink just for her! When the Azalea is in bud form, they very much resemble rose buds. Here are some pictures just so you can see the beauty we see.

We appreciate all of you thinking of us during this time. I'm going to get an "official" thank you mailed...sometime.

Don't give up ordering flowers/plants just because we were laughing, because we weren't laughing at you.
