"I'll have the kids each pick a meal that they want to help cook and that will take care of most of the menu and then all I have to do is work with the things we have at home and the ingredients we bought."
Each kid had their own grocery list with the items that were needed for their meal. They picked up the items and marked them off of the list.
The first child's meal we fixed was Tanner's.
He chose lasagna, salad and bread.
He wanted something that had "a lot of cutting".
He LOVES to cook, and said maybe he'll be a professional cook when he gets older.
I'm now wishing I had taken more pictures, from beginning to end, but I had to stay focused on Tanner and the job. Here's what I have:
