We are home!
In Topeka...
The kids got a good 6-7 hours to play with their cousins.
Jeff had a chance to help Jeanette prepare for the memorial service.
It was definitely more of a celebration of his life than mournful. More on the service later.
On our way home...
This is what we drove in, for a time.
This is what we drove in, for a time.
The kids pretty much "veg'd" on movies.
When we got home...
The kids ran around to cul-de-sac to get some energy out.
We ate some Taco John's, since the frig was empty.
We ALL, hit our beds at 8:00 and was asleep by 8:30!
Today...
The kids finished their table work (Math and Language Arts), before I made it downstairs.
They each picked a meal they are going to help me cook sometime these next couple of weeks.
Each kid got their own grocery list.
We headed to Walmart and Sams Club.
Out of 20+ check-out lines at Walmart there were 5 open. 2 for 20 items or less, 1 for 10 items or less, and 2 for everyone else. Of course those 2 lines were way out into the big aisle. Grrrr. We finally decided we were going to the 20 items line, since there were no lines there.
